Freshly Picked makes the most amazing moccasins! If you have not heard of this brand, let me bring you up to speed. This company
Freshly Picked, was started by Susan Peterson in 2009 after she struggled to find a soft soled shoe that fit her son properly. After many attempts at "the perfect fit" she came up with an amazing and functional solution to keeping stylish shoes on tiny, chubby little feet.
Her story and product have recently been featured on the show Shark Tank. If you did not watch her episode she got an amazing deal with Damon! She told the story of when she was first starting out. She asked her brother who owns a window installation business if she could have all the old windows from his houses in the summer of 2009 and he said yes. She spent
all summer smashing the windows out of frames so she could trade the aluminum in it for money to start her business. She was given $200 and that was
enough for her to buy some scrap leather to get things rolling. She continued working so hard on the functional and stylish product until
it eventually paid off!
Freshly Picked also keeps evolving if you have not taken a peek at the website recently she now has a beautiful line of bags to match your "babes" moccs. Freshly Picked story is? Well I will
share! I noticed the cutest moccs on Instagram and I was very intrigued
so I clicked on the picture to learn all the details. When I first viewed the website I was in love! Jackpot, the most
amazing variety of handmade moccasins I had ever seen. Wow! I knew these needed to be on
my babes little feet. Baby H decided to ask for a pair for Christmas and
her MY wish was granted! (thank you Lady Di)
I had a few thoughts of "What if these do not hold up on the feet of a rough and tumble one year old?" I was so happy to find out firsthand when I received my first pair how fab these shoes are! She loves her moccs so much! I am telling you these little shoes
stay on her feet always and are so durable. We wear these 24-7 (play,
eat, sleep) and what makes me even happier is that I never have to find a
pair of socks...I just have to find two moccasins... which makes my life a little easier to eliminate a step (its the little things). Now if we could invent a shoe finder to find all my kids shoes...that would be amazing! (I wish they made moccs for big kiddos! PLEASE)
These little moccasins even helped my babe take her first steps back walking around after her second open heart surgery. They kept her cruising little body balanced and in sync while
running walking. I mean if
you can run like a champ down the hall 48 hours after open heart surgery, you
better be able to do it with style.....and don't you worry she rocked
it.....and is doing

the new Spring 2014 line and every single one of them is amazing, I wish I could say I have them all! These
are unisex and made in sizes starting at
1-10. The majority are made of leather and a smaller selection of
colors are made of suede. They have a size chart on their site that you
can print out and figure out what is the best size for your little bambino... ensuring you have found the right size and PERFECT fit.
Leather or Suede? Suede and leather are
great for all terrains, all seasons and almost any outfit, no matter
what color you choose. These moccasins seem to match with
everything! We are constantly on the go and I can personally vouch for
the durability and longevity of each pair of these handmade shoes. I love the suede for its ability to be a little more durable outside. I love the leather moccs because you can literally wipe anything off and they look amazing all the time! Even if your babe may or may not have dipped them in
yogurt....bottom line is these are my favorite little baby shoes and
when the day comes that she grows out of size 10, I will be one sad mama.
